Sikkens Rubbol BL Rezisto Mat - Scratch-resistant lacquer
A matt water-based lacquer based on poluyrethane-reinforced acrylic dispersion. Extremely strong protection against scratches, (skin) grease and stains. It's slightly tixotropic (gel-like) character means fewer drips and splashes. Ideal for application on vertical surfaces.
Description
Rubbol BL Rezisto Mat is a matt interior finish for woodwork, hard plastic, concrete, plaster etc. that has been pre-treated with a water-based primer. Can also be used on cleaned and sanded synthetic alkyd resin and water-based paints. First apply a suitable primer on hard PVC and metal. Ideal for maintenance, renovation and new construction and extremely suitable for areas that are used intensively.

How to use this lacquer
First of all, you always need a good preparation. You will have to clean and degrease the surface, let it dry thoroughly and sand it if necessary.
Protect anything that should not be painted, such as the window or wall, to paint tamper-free. Use tape and cover foil if necessary.
Next, apply Sikkens Rubbol BL Primer as a primer. The number of coats (the actual coverage) depends on what you are painting. Usually, you do need at least two coats of primer.
Finally, you can finish with one or possibly two more coats of Rubbol BL Rezisto Satin.

What colours is this paint available in?
Perhaps the easiest answer is for us to tell you which colours it is not available in.
